Tammi Stone
Tammi is a
life-long dog trainer. She has competed with a variety of breeds in
agility, conformation, obedience, dock diving, and hunting retriever
tests.
Two of Tammi’s dogs
have earned an Agility Dog Championship (ADCH) from the United States
Dog Agility Association (USDAA) and another earned his Acomplished
Performance Dog title. Tammi’s top current competition dog, Splash, has
her Bronze ADCH.
Tammi’s dogs have
finished ranked in the USDAA’s season-long National Top Ten several
times in Jumpers and Snooker. Tammi has competed in the USDAA National
Championships many times. She has earned numerous high placements in
Tournament Classes at the Championships and finished third with Cede in
the 2002 USDAA Grand Prix Finals.
Tammi and Cede also finished
third in the International Class at the 2002 AKC National Championships,
which earned them a coveted spot in the AKC World Team Invitational. In
May 2003 Cede became the first Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever to
compete at the World Team Invitational.
Tammi has been a
USDAA Agility Judge since 1994 and is a former AKC Agility Judge. Her
favorite class to design, judge, and compete in is Snooker.
Tammi recently
finished Splash’s AKC XF title with an 80-point, blue ribbon
performance.
Tammi’s training methods are
pure positive motivation, achieved primarily through clicker training. |
