Where Education and Positive Reinforcement are the Key Ingredients in Pet Training

Welcome to Advances in Animal Behavior. Serving Chicagoland since 1995, we offer a vast array of dog training services.  Our puppy classes include Puppy Kindergarten.  For dogs over 5 months, we offer beginning dog obedience classes such as Adolescent Dog, Come Here Now, and Basic Obedience I. Our intermediate/advanced program includes Basic Obedience 2 and Rally Obedience.  Our 26,000 square foot dog training facility also affords us the opportunity to teach Dog Agility, Flyball, Disc, Canine Freestyle, and Dabble in Dog Sports.  Private training and Board and Train is also available as well as behavior problem consultations.   

Our founder and senior trainer, Kristen Phillips, invites you to learn about dog behavior, enjoy training your dog, and accomplish your dog training goals.  
 

Advances in Animal Behavior is celebrating it's 5th year at our Chicago Ridge location.  Pawsitively Heaven Pet Resort and Chicago Animal Rehab along with Advances in Animal Behavior invite you to help celebrate this 5 year anniversary.

Saturday, May 19th
Noon to 4pm

1-4pm  Underwater treadmill, acupuncture and chiropractic manipulation demos by Dr. Joe Whalen, DVM and staff.

1pm - Agility demonstrations by Kristen Phillips from Advances In Animal Behavior.

1:30 pm - Obedience Demos and training Q & A by Kristen Phillips from
Advances In Animal Behavior.

2-2:45pm - Free outdoor agility class
Dogs are welcome to attend this activity.
 

2-3pm - Dr. Elizabeth Cutright, DVM teaches how to choose a dog food.

1-3 pm - Airbrush tattoos (on people only)

We will have guided tours of daycare, boarding and grooming, free vendor samples for all 4 fun filled hours
